The paper by Turyshev et. al. concluded that the extended set of radiometric data exhibits a decreasing trend in the anomalous acceleration. The Pioneer anomaly is not a constant after all, but a decreasing function of heliocentric distance after Saturn encounter. They also state that a portion, but not all, of the anomalous acceleration can be attributed to the generation and dissipation of heat by the on board RTGs.
